Modern Style Platinum Flooring.

The more Modern Style or Platinum floors are generally wide width boards of 130mm widths or greater, that are not top nailed. This can also include recycled boards of this width or greater as well as engineered wide boards. These are generally secret nailed and trowel glued  to the sub floor or glued to acoustic underlays.

This style of flooring requires very specific attention to detail when installing, things to consider are the style of trowel-able glue, vapour barriers and “L Cleat” fasteners.

These make very spectacular and functional floors, and now added to this range is roasted timber. The timber is roasted in much the same way as coffee beans to enhance the colour and stability of the planks, these newer styles of platinum flooring are increasing in popularity due to their stunning appearance and the inevitable “wow” factor it brings to the premises.
